Wow, that was unexpected... I would love to try and help out with the events, although I have never done text events before. I can porbably do small ones, but thats about it.

Have you tried posting about this on the FTL subreddit? I can't believe that no one can help you. You have all my support even though I can't help you.

It's probably too late now, but- install Recuva, and run it on the drive that the files got deleted from, you might recover something.

You really should have stopped using the drive and ran Recuva as soon as this happened, though.

I've already tried multiple tactics of recovery, Cotelio. In addition, telling me what I 'should have done' is utterly pointless- the past is immutable and unchanging. It also makes me irritated for some reason.

could you make it so that the sectors go like in regular ftl and there is a choice but instead of making that sector 8 the boss it is just another choice and it will continue on like that. you know what i mean? i Just liked the choice making of regular ftl but i also like infinite gameplay.

Like at the end of the first sector, you can jump near the Fed Base or you could jump into deep space to roam the cosmos with no rebels.... Please do something like that.

May as well try and help a bit, don't really have much else to do.

I don't have a great amount of experience with event scripting, but I'll look into it. I have had some experience with other parts of the game code though.
