Guess I had his weapons deactivated before the first power surge, because I had a 48% dodge without cloak and cloaked on the first surge, nothing hit me Yet no achievement...

I suppose the logical question is; how many shots are in the surge, and how much damage does each do?

There might be a difference in projectile amounts in easy and normal difficulty. What difficulty did you try it on? Also the game still has some bugs so just try again and hope for the best next time ^^

Just a suggestion, hope useful to you.
The boss 3rd phase super attack is actually firing a lot "heavy laser" type of attack. (Can anyone help confirm this?)
Heavy Laser do only 1 damage to shield but 2 damage to hull.
So I power down my shield to none when boss going to use super attack then go into cloak.
