FTL wont launch.

Whenever I try to launch FTL on steam, the window pops up for a split second, then closes itself. Can someone help me resolve this?

Can you post the contents of the stdout.txt and stderr.txt files that should be found in the game's installation directory? Look in C:\Program Files\Steam\...\Faster Than Light or something.

I am having the same problem. I did a C: search and I have found the files, but when I open them in Notebook - they are both blank. What step do I need to take next?

Hi Tulsy. Sorry about the problem! Can you make sure your video drivers are up to date? That's the most common fix for this
