Touch Screen issues

Post by Merkin »

Hi, Firstly, I love the game! It's ton of fun!

Now to the issue. I have a samsung series 7 slate and when I play the game in full screen mode it seems to mess up the touch mapping which causes the cursor to go haywire and only move around the outside edge of the screen. I thought that turning on the mode with black edges may resolve the issue as the touch screen mapping would be 1 to 1 with the input but it still has the same issue.

Now I know that this is a windows issue as it happens on pretty much any game that doesn't support the screen's native resolution (mostly old skool DOS games unfortunately) but I was hoping that there may be a workaround?

Please let me know if there is a way to resolve this as I would love to play FTL in full screen mode on the slate.

Also I saw someone else here suggest a nice big 'PAUSE' button in the game interface for us non-keyboard users and I definitely second this.

Thanks for your time,
Brad

The relative cursor positioning is intended to be fixed in a future update, but it's on a very long list of todos :( There's no current workaround that I'm aware of.. sorry about this.
