Anyone know if steam cloud works?

In patch notes the devs said steam cloud support was added to FTL (without their consent apparently). Does this mean that for steam users, our progress/unlocks etc are saved to steam's servers, and we can use any content we unlock on any pc we own that has steam?

Can confirm this as working, yeah. I didn't realise it for a long time and had two seperate sets of unlocks (one on the laptop, one on the desktop). Then it all of a sudden updated and has been in synch since.
