Resolution

Post by thatguy3256 »

My game's resolution is weird. The text in the boxes (renaming, difficulty etc.) are really low quality but when I hover over the boxes the text is clear. I thought that changing to full screen but it didn't work. I even meddled around with all the other settings in the options menu but nothing seemed to changed.

I've put in a screenshot so you can have a look

I'm not sure whether its a bug or its a problem with my hardware

It's not just the texts, everything is ugly.
Looks like scaling (stretching) or anti-aliasing went wrong. Try different screen modes (window, bordered fullscreen) and/or disabling AA in your card control panel.

Yep, most likely a driver-settings issue. This post gives a bit more details if you have an AMD/ATI card: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 520#p16520

Try adding the line "swapTexture=1" to your settings.ini file, which can be found in your FTL installation folder if you're using Windows. This assumes you're using version 1.02.5 or higher... with Steam it will have automatically downloaded but if you bought it from our website or GOG you might have to redownload FTL.
