odd lagging?

so, im sure this is just because of my operating system upgrade, but i want to see if you all can help me since only this game is having this problem. basically, after the loading screen at the beginning, the game lags bad. now, i recently upgraded to windows 8 consumer preview, but none of my other games are having issues, this is the only game that lags or messes up at all. are there any solutions to this odd lag that hasnt happened before?

i tried running it in compatibility mode, it didnt help, is this an update problem? the task manager says its barely using any memory at all, so it has plenty of memory it can access to make it run faster...

i tried raising its priority level, still didnt change anything, it is running as administrator as well.

People who had lagging issues in Windows 8 generally solved them by making sure their video drivers were the most recent available from the manufacturer. Are you up-to-date?

By the way, this is one reason why Windows 8 is not officially supported by the game.

fixed it! thanks! inc ase you were wondering, windows 8 is far superior to windows 7... much faster and eats less memory

... but apparently the driver developers needed some more time to adapt to that new operating system.
