Hello I have a reguest could you help me with my FTL game.
The other day I was watching tons of videos on FTL, so I asked my mom if she could buy me a game "F.T.L." she said "sure", so I got to downloading it and when it was done I started it up on steam, but when it got done loading the screen became white but the music was still playing. So I was woundering if you could help me with it, if you do not know the cuase of it just say "We cant help out this moment".
I'm very sorry that you're having troubles with the game. To help you with the problem I'll need a few more details. To start with, I need to know what Operating System are you using? Windows or Mac?

It sounds like possibly your computer does not meet the requirements to play FTL But let's check to make sure first.
Run the "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" by pressing Start in Windows and typing "dxdiag" into the "Search Programs and Files" box on the bottom then press enter (or click on dxdiag.exe when the computer finds it). That should open up a window with a button on the bottom marked "Save All Information..." that will create a file. You can either open the file and copy and paste the contents into a reply here on the forum, or you can email me the file to zasdarq@ftlgame.com.

I'm sorry, here's an image to maybe help you find it. Once you press the Start button in Windows, just type "dxdiag" into the box that I've marked red in the image and press enter and it will open

Just click on "Save All Information" and then hit "Save" and it will create dxdiag.txt on your desktop. You can open it up and copy the contents into a reply here on the forum, or just email me the file at zasdarq@ftlgame.com Image below to help out

Double click on DxDiag.txt on your Desktop and it should open in Notepad. Highlight the first hundred lines or so in the file (everything before --------- Sound Devices ---------------) and press "ctrl+c" to copy it. Then start a new reply on this forum and press "ctrl+v" to paste it into the reply Hopefully that will work better.
