FTL got me hooked on star trek

Never watched star trek until now and wow is it Awsome feels like FTL real life action roleplay. Also the first series of star trek is amazing it has a element of the Twilight zone in it seems like lots of mysteries and twistes as least in first two episodes. THERE'S SO MUCH TOO 3 seasons of star trek 1966 with like 30 episodes each and a hour long. Plus you got several differnt generations though I don't know how good compared to the original. After watching star trek FTL is a lot more emersive

Star Trek is awesome! Original Series is great; so is The Next Generation and Deep Space 9. Voyager is OK, and Enterprise was... meh. DS9 (7 seasons) has an epic story arc and TNG (also 7 seasons) has some of the best individual episodes in all of Trek (IMO). You've got a lot of TV to watch; enjoy!

Before I played FTL, I really hoped it would feel like a Star Trek TOS game, with all sorts of different space-based encounters and opportunities to have crazy, perilous adventures. It turned out to be somewhat different, but I'm still holding out hope for a better representation of that exploring-a-strange-and-wondrous-galaxy feeling. (FTL II perhaps?)
