Ship: The Amalgamus
This will be my first of many i hope, this will be the reveal of my initial ship, the Amalgamus. Before posting it i have one beginners question, if using ce and ce related mods such as the randomized weapons on the ship, will those assets still work? Or would the weapon mod and ce be required for others to use it? And also, is uploading the .ftl of the ship all that is necessary? Or do i also have to include any resources?

If you want to use CE weapons and stuff that's fine, but best include their blueprints in your file. So many people just go "Screw this, I'm using Endless Loot" without realising that most people can't play Endless Loot and thus can't play the ship you want them to play with (they'll be able to fly it still but no guns).
Resources and the ship files can be in the same .ftl file as well. CE keeps the Resources separate from the main files because there's a lot of resources to cover. A single ship mod isn't going to require it unless it's just as big as CE.

I got all my blueprints & imaging fixed and squared away, ive essentially tried to make it so someone on vanilla game loadout could patch it in and play, but i am now getting an obscure error while patching in. I posted the error on the inquries post if youd like to look.
Since im having issues with the mod at this point i suppose this thread can be erased.

You could always upload the broken file so someone can take a look at where an error might be.
Did you make sure the blueprints had closing tags?

Yes. With the help of the inquires thread, Meklozz helped me figure a thing or two out. I also had some help over Skype from Biohazard063, i'm ironing a few things out, i hope to have it up tonight or tomorrow. They will definitely get come credits on the post aswell.

I'm Scrapping the whole thing, i tried to get a little to intense with it for a first ship. I think im going to begin anew with a simple design, then revisit the project once i'm more comfortable with the blueprints and whatnot. This post can be deleted.
