How do you create a new ship and add cargo to it?

Superluminals ship editor doesnt have a feature in which a new .ftl mod for a ship can have cargo added to it. Is this possible or only on the save game end of things?

Reason being is I have a Battlestar Pegasus mod and Im playtesting it and found out that Ill likely be able to only accomodate 4x drone slots and that wont be enough. I want to allow the player to change around the drone configuration rather than limiting them to what the ship comes with in its assigned drone slots, and the only way to do that is to add extra drones in cargo that can swap for the ones in the drone slots.

So how do I add drones to cargo?

I've just had the same issue-

The only way around it I've found is to reward them via the start event. You may have to do it one drone at a time (definitely true for weps/augs/systems, so I'm assuming drones too)

You can see it in the Arwing mod, though the code's a little bloated now. I based it on Rad-82's Auto Terminator, which may be the better place to start (his code is uber compatible with other mods)
