mind control teleport neutral crew
I was playing slug B (just to unlock slug C and possibly get rock, which I did) and I ran into an interesting situation. I had a teleporter, and mind control. I had one member mind controlled. They surrendered, and I accepted (needed fuel). I danced my slugs around the neutral crew members, and teleported them back. Then I wondered, what would happen if I had teleported the mind controlled member? Would I have a neutral rock sitting there until I decide to suffocate him? would he become hostile in the next encounter? (likely). Would he join my crew? (very unlikely). It was too late for me to test this, as my teleporter had a longer cool down than the mind control. Could anyone confirm what happens?
They're sentient, you know. We just have a lot of them.
Not everyone made it back.

Re: mind control teleport neutral crew
I know the game has issues involving stations and positions when you leave an enemy mind-controlled before saving and quitting or in the case of running out fuel and facing a Mantis raider (who typically don't drop any fuel... bastards!) the game crashes.
But I do know that if the enemy ship sent boarders, they'll teleport back in the case of a surrender, except for the ones who teleported onboard from events (so if you're facing the Zoltan Weapons License guys, those 6 Zoltan will keep on attacking you despite the fact the other guys have surrendered)
So if you jump to another beacon while a mind-controlled enemy is onboard, I think they'll be hostile in the next jump regardless of surrender.
I can't confirm it (and someone else might have done it before and would know better) but I think you can't teleport mind-controlled enemies back to your ship if the ship is neutral.
