[WIP/ Concept] Doctor Who Dalek Mod

Hey guys,
I just thought that I'd let you know that soon I will be starting a mod based around the infamous Doctor Who villains- The Daleks. This mod will hopefully include a Dalek Race, A Dalek Ship and Dalek Weapons- I am sure that this will be moderately difficult as 1) I am not very good with code and 2) I am not very good with Photoshop/ art XD. However I will step up to the plate and have a go at it- I should let you know that this will not be finished anytime soon for 2 reasons (again): 1) Superluminal 2 is not yet out and that is how I make and edit ships 2) I currently have national exams that are very important to my future- I will work on this with what little free time I have until they are over.
Here is a more detailed view into what I hope that this will consist of:
Dalek Race: I plan on making them very powerful, however you will be unable to buy them in a store- they will be good at fighting, they will not need as much oxygen to survive (they have a living creature inside so I am taking this into account despite on multiple episodes them being shows jamming in outer space with no problem), they will have 150 health and be very good at repairing HOWEVER they will move slower than normal.

Dalek Ship Key Feature: a custom dalekanium armour augmentation (may just end up being a renamed rock/ zoltan shield augment); You will only start with ONE crew member- a Dalek; this will be the only Dalek that you will get over the whole game as they are so powerful.

Dalek Weapons: I have not entirely thought about this, however I think that I will only make around 2- a dalek missile, and their trademark laser. The missile will be based off of the missile fired by Dalek ships in Episodes such as the final Christopher Ecclestone episode (I miss him :cry: ).

I'm afraid you can't customize the qualities of different races nor make a new race with custom powers, but you can take the rockmen for example and change their name to The Dalek and edit their sprites so they would resemble Daleks. I'd help you, but I'm quite busy with other things right now and I don't know that much about Doctor Who (I've seen about 20 episodes).

First things first- watch Doctor Who :P
Ok, thank you for offering your services- I am sure that you know what you are talking about, but is there no way whatsoever of rewriting an entire race (fighting ability etc.)?

The only things you can mod with race are the names, descriptions, and sprites I believe. Editing their abilities or traits is impossible since it's hardcoded.
