Edit artillery beam and some more questions...

I have five (propably dumb

) questions:
1. Is it possible to change the Artillery Beam?
(custom image, custom lenght etc.)
2. How can you add custom Augumentations?
I saw thet CE adds new Augumentations but I don't know how to add/change Augumentations myself
(I want to make an augumentation that doubles the evasion of the ship so at full engine power you have nearly 100%
evasion)
3. Can you add/change crew?
(I'm thinking about Ghosts that can't even die from suffocation and fire or something similar)
4. How can I add custom weapons to a ship mod?
(superluminal can't pack them into the .ftl file as I see

)
5. Is it possible to unpack .ftl and if yes, how?

1. Yes, you can change the artillery beam, don''t ask me how though, i have no idea.
2. sort of, the augmentations in captains edition are entirely event based, and the augments themselves do nothing. You can create custom versions of existing augment (e.g. an engi-medbot augment that heals faster/slower), but you cannot create your own augmentations.
3.no, crew are hardcoded. (although you can change the crew sprites). the ghosts for CE are already in the game, but they where never implemented.
5. yes, change it to a .zip

OK the augumentations question was because I wanted to make a ship that can only get hitted by Beamweapons

Is it possible to change the evasion to an exact value with an event that happens every time you start a battle?
Crew: OK

Artillery beam: That you can change it was clear (some mods do) the HOW was the question xD

You can only increase engine power midgame by upgrading the system.
