In brief:
|SnappY|: You just helped me find a bug.
|SnappY|: lol
<my pal>: ?
|SnappY|: in the game.
|SnappY|: I was down to 2 crew members, and you texted me via steam. We chatted. I went back to the game. I couldn't select single crew members to move them to various positions. They all moved in tandem.
|SnappY|: I alt-tabbed, and that seemed to let me pick individuals, but they wouldn't move.
<my pal>: oh crap. sry!
|SnappY|: I restarted the game... crew members still wouldn't move.
|SnappY|: sweet bug!
Crew members were previously killing boarded enemies in the medical room.
I couldn't move them by singles.. either by individually clicking or drawing a box around them.
Only when I restarted the mission was I able to select individuals. However, they would not move. Only a green circle would show up where I wanted them to move to...

I can confirm this is still happening, and tab doesn't seem to help. Chatting on steam seems to bring on this issue where you cannot select just a single crew member, instead getting all of them. Does anyone know of any other fixes for this (besides not using steam chat?)

Try toggling caps-lock / tapping the shift keys / entering into the Steam chat again. For some reason the user input library (SDL) might to think that shift is being held which would create that behavior.

Yeah, shift be the problem. Usually when something that seems like a bug occurs, and it has similar effects to a game mechanic, try to identify which key activates that mechanic and it'll reset it. Happens in lots of games
