Does the weapon pre-igniter aug apply to the artillery beam?

As per title.

I'd test it myself right now in my current game..... but it'd mean selling my Osprey's one and only conventional weapon to be able to afford it

I'm assuming it doesn't. It should have no reason to. what exactly is the description of the preigniter?

No, sadly it doesn't work on the artillery beam.
