What is next from the FTL team?
I would love to know what is next from both Matthew and Justin. Since I have been following FTL since the Kickstater I am so excited about getting the game on release.
I'm guessing they are going to have a rest, but please keep up informed with other developments so we can support you in those too.

I'll venture a prediction that updates and added content for FTL are probably first up.
What comes after that is anyone's guess, though. Something of stellar quality assuredly.

I do not doubt that one bit. I would love to still see updates to FTL, but I am also hoping to support them in any game they do next. too.
I am guessing anything they have planned is secret till they can get the bare-bones up and running. When I develop my games I tend to have ideas for new ones spilling out of me before I finish so it makes it harder to finish.
