Unable to unlock 2nd layout of Zoltan cruiser

Hi,

I have met two of the requirements to unlock the 2nd layout of the Zoltan cruiser; the 1st being to destroy an enemy ship before the Zoltan shields are spent, the 2nd to go to and through the 5th sector without updating the engine. I saw both achievements popping up, but when I restart the game, only the 1st is showing.

I believe it is due to a crash of my computer, where I had to force quit Steam and thus FTL. Since then, even though I restarted a new game and met the 2nd requirement again, it doesn't work and the layout isn't unlocked.

I have a save to prove it.

Any way to fix it?

What version of FTL are you currently running? You can see the version number in the bottom right of the main menu.

There's a profile editor you can use to force unlock the achievement: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2877

Hi, I am running version 1.03.1. I bought the game through steam, so I am assuming steam keeps the last version updated?

Thanks for the link to the editor. I'll try it out. I just want to make sure there isn't a bigger problem (some kind of corruption in my files) and that I will be able to unlock other ships through normal gameplay, otherwise it takes some of the fun out.

There shouldn't be any long term problems... I can't check your profile at the moment as I'm away from my work computer. Let me know if you have any more problems though.
