Hi,
I have the game from GOG.com
I haven't got the requirements because I have a processor of 1.60 GHz. The game is working but I can't see any text.
Here are some screenshots.
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
I want to know if there is any way to fix the problem and play without the requirements, or if there is no solution and I have to throw my PC through window.
PS: Yes, I played a few games in FTL without text. I wanted to see if it worked.

Re: Problems with the text
It is more likely to be a problem with your display adapter. What kind do you have? Also, check if your drivers are up to date.
Maybe you dont have to throw the entire PC out the window.
If it's a driver problem, buying a relatively cheap graphics card with working drivers could do the trick.

Hello. Sorry about the problem.
Can you go to your FTL installation directory and look for the file settings.ini. Open it up in a text editor and add this line somewhere on its own:
swapTexture=1
It's an unlikely fix though. Can you shoot me an email with a dxdiag dump for your system (zasdarq@ftlgame.com)? I'll see if I can get it workin for you!

Hello everybody,
thanks for respond.
Ammm...We have a problem here...I am Argentinian, and my DxDiag it's in Spanish. I don't know if you can understand it but I'll send you the file anyway.
PS: I can speak English very well

I've responded to your email. Definitely looks like you have a problem with your video card / drivers.
Your English is indeed great!
