best chances for rock cruiser.
now, i know how to unlock the rock cruiser blah blah blah rock homeworlds blah blah blah survives sun blah blah quest beacon. my question is, how is this event shown? is it shown as a sun, just a ship, both, or for some reason a distress beacon? i found this event ONCE, and want it to get the crystal ship. any tips?

It shows as a ship, if you have long range scanners. Or just a normal jump without them.
