.ftl

i try to add the'.ftl' to the and of my mods but it ands up as

[filename].ftl.zip

any help on how to make it a proper .ftl?

For future reference, the modding tools weren't created by us, so it's probably faster to find help posting directly to the mod forum found here: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=12

But right now it sounds like you're just running into a file naming problem and not an actual modding issue :) Are your files extensions currently hidden when you're just looking in windows explorer? While windows explorer is open, press 'alt+t' to access the tools menu and choose "Folder Options." Then go to the "View" tab and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types." I could be mistaken on what your problem is, but that might help.
