My first victory with the Stealth A

So I unlocked this ship a few weeks ago, but never used it again because of the fact that riggers love to spawn all the time. However, I decided to try it again today. Should I also mention that NO riggers spawned at all during the first three sectors?

First jump in the game: Scrap Recovery Arm!
I manage to get tons of scrap, so much that I buy a shields system and level two once I get to a store.

Sector 2: Engi Controlled Sector
What do you know? I find two anti-ship drones, which inspires me to buy a drones system.

Sector 4: Mantis Controlled Sector
A surrender gives me a Burst Laser Mk III, and another gives me a breach missile. I also decide to buy a Pegasus to complement it.
Plus, I get a teleporter with two killer mantis.

Sector 5: Mantis Homeworlds
I unlock the mantis cruiser, and get an Ion Bomb.
I decide to use my two anti-ship drones, and use 'em against an engi ship wandering around. Not a good idea when they have Defense II's.

Sector 6: Rock-Controlled Sector
I murder tons of rocks and find the crystal quest event. I knew I had no time, so instead I took the other option and received a Hull Laser II.

Flagship Fight

MAX everything.
Burst III, Ion Bomb, and Hull Laser II.
Anti-Ship x 2.
I wrecked the flagship.

Phase 1
Spammed Ion bombs all over the medbay.

Phase 2
Drone warfare.
(Boarding drone decided to head into my teleporter)

Phase 3
Teleported everyone onboard for fun.

Best run ever.
Plus, new high score!

Nothing weak about that run. Very nice to be loved by the RNG once in a while. I guess if you also made it to the secret sector, your computer would have exploded.

The crystal quest that you talk about, is that the stasis chamber that you get popping up once in a while? I've never worked out what I'm supposed to do with it so now I just ignore it care to shed so.e ligh on it for me?

I love the stealth ship! I got the game a few days ago and I unlocked the stealth ship today.
I decided to stream some FTL on twitch.tv and I got to the boss and killed the boss for the first time with the stealth ship. (which was my first stealth run ever)

Later the same evening I got my second boss kill with the federation ship! I guess streaming helps xD

I almost defeated the flagship on my first run of the game, it had 2 hull left, and if i hadnt sold my artemis, i would have won! but i didnt see any boarding drones...m or any drones in general, was i lucky?

The next sector was the Last Stand, so it was impossible to find the Rock Homeworlds. Plus, there were only two hostile sectors (besides the last stand) in the game, at the beginning.

Yeah, it is, the steps to getting the crystal cruiser can be found somewhere on the forums, I don't exactly remember how to fix the stasis chamber either.

I'm assuming you were on the first phase? If you beat that, only the left wing of the ship will be destroyed and it'll jump away. The only benefit is that there isn't a ion burst, cloacking, or doors on the bastard anymore. The second phase contains the horrible drone swarm and the third phase features a massive zoltan shield and a superweapon that fires about a thousand lasers.
