Windows Vista Display Driver Crash

Post by dvdv »

Hey,

Just got this fun-as-shit game but it crashes every single time I play it. I'll play it from anywhere from 2-15 minutes but, invariably, the screen goes back and I get a Display driver/IGFX failure message. Im running Windows vista on an older Gateway laptop if that helps.

How much RAM have you got, and what display adapter do you use? Also, check to see if there's anything in the crashlogs folder where FTL is installed. If there's anything there you can post it on the forum.

I know it sounds obvious, but did you check for updated video drivers? Check both the Gateway website as well as Intels directly (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/). Drivers for those intel cards are very unreliable, which is why we listed them as not officially supported in our sys requirements :( Most people don't have a problem though so don't give up hope.
