Switching Ships

Post by taurenlegend »

Hello, please bear with me. I just unlocked my first ship and I cannot figure out how to use it. When I select 'HANGER' in the Esc Menu it says I will lose all saved data. So does this mean I'll lose the ship I just unlocked? And then I have to start over? I'm confused. I've unlocked in the past but then later died in the Krestel and then the ships were not in the hanger so I'm at a loss.

Thanks for your guidance.

Just keep playing and it will be there when your current game ends.

If you choose to end your current game your new ship will be waiting for you -- quitting your current game will not remove the ship, you have it forever.

Have fun!

The "Hangar" option means "Pick a ship to start a new game with." Not sure why they didn't just call that option "New Game," but whatever.

A ship is available immediatley after unlocking. Some "unlock" quests are multi-part so it's possible you did not complete the quest. Some quests also have the actual unlock event in the next sector, so if you begin the quest in sector 7, you will not be able to complete it.
