No two of the same weapon?

Found a Burst Laser II, which I already have. Tried to run it, but when I try to activate it, it says "not enough system energy"

I have 3 extra bars! Even when I turn off ALL other things I still do not have enough system energy to run both burst lasers.

Why is this???

To use a weapon you need 2 things

1) Enough weapons power room

For example, you see the "Weapons" upgrade in the Upgrade Screen? You need to have enough slots to use that weapon, or you'll need to depower some other weapons and charge the other.

2) Enough reactor room
For example, the Burst Laser MK2 needs 2 power to use. Put in your weapons slots and make sure you have enough power in your reactor (The little bar at the side that fills up when you depower your systems). You can upgrade your reactor bars after a battle at the upgrade screen.

EDIT: I just skimmed through your post the first time. Just upgrade your weapons so you have enough to power both.
