Transferring License from Steam

Hey gang- purchased the game via steam.......any way to transfer the license to a standard license (for ease of modding on a mac)?

I don't know how to answer. Does steam include PC/Mac/Linux versions or is it just one? Because the website and GoG include all three. EDIT - GoG has no linux version yet.

And yes, a Steam version can be modded like the others.

There is no "standard" license. Just three companies selling the same game (Steam, GOG, Subset Games). When you buy from one, the two others cannot do much for you, you have to discuss with the one you bought from.

Modding works exactly the same for all versions, the license has nothing to do with modding.
