Game Flashes to Desktop Periodically

Every once in awhile when I'm running the game, the game will quickly flash to my desktop and flash back to the game.

Any fixes for this?

So that the developer can help you better, can you answer the following questions?

- Where did you buy (and download) the game from? FTL web site, Steam, GoG?
- What operating system are you using? Windows, Mac, Linux? 32-bits, 64-bits?
- What graphics card do you have? Are your video drivers up-to-date?
- Which version of the game are you using? (look at the bottom right of the game main menu)

It sounds like some application is temporarily stealing "focus" from FTL. Try quitting other apps while playing to see if the problem persists.

Are you using a laptop with a switch-able video card? Can you try using the integrated card instead of the dedicated GPU if you do? I've seen this problem happening and that normally is a potential solution, which suggests it's a driver/card issue and not another application problem. That said, it's definitely worth trying closing every other non-vital app to see if that's the cause.
