Yeah, I had meant replacing the flagship, not having a second. I think captain's edition's cruiser are probably as close to having multiple flagship as we need.
Although I still haven't gotten to try that one yet, still have another mod I want to try first. And I'll have to check out Sonata TC then. I think I've done enough messing around with a player ship (although I still haven't balanced it yet), and want to take a look at modding an enemy ship, see what sort of things are possible. For example, one of the things that I think was really cool with captain's edition was battle stations.

You can make any flagship you want, you just need to put more artillery weapons and make the ship as bigger as possible lol, thats all.. i mean, as far as you know the basics of modding in FTL, you can make your own flagships if you want..

Why not trying putting in multiple artillery system blueprints so the game and any ftl editor realize and see multiple unique artillery systems.

You cannot edit the vindicator (is that how you spell it) beam, but you can add multiple artillery rooms to enemy ships, and get bossweps.
