Thank you, it was a pretty entertaining run.

Tough luck not running into any stores selling Cloaking though. Those missiles tore ya up near the end of sector 7. -w-;

Well they were selling Cloaking... just when I didn't have the money back in the early sectors.

But yeah, missiles are the worst. They only work well for the enemy.

Faster play comes with the experience. I know what most of the events entail and if a rare one does pop up, I quickly solve it.
I even do the same in Captain's Edition runs.

Another update, again focusing on the Coercion. This time I've replaced the Scrap Recovery Arm with two new augments (read: renamed ones with different stats) that are meant to help keep extra crew alive before oxygen is bought (if the player decides to get it). The augments in question are -

Lanius Med-bot Dispersal: Lore-wise, these nanobots normally found on Engi ships were reverse-engineered by the Lanius and enhanced to be anaerobic which allows them to function more efficiently in a dangerous environment, such as a depressurized ship with no oxygen. In technical terms, they heal at half the rate of a level 1 Med Bay rather than at a quarter.

Organic Compressors: Lore-wise, these are nanobots that are entirely supplementary and can only function within a certain range of a Med Bay. When powered, they are able to pressurize organic material (read: squishy mortal flesh) indefinitely. Depowered, their effect begins to dwindle until their hosts are finally left unprotected to a vacuum and die. Technically, they just have the same exact effect as Emergency Respirators but are cheaper.

Together, these augments allow non-Lanius crew to survive on the Coercion so long as the Med Bay is powered. If needed, they can even heal (slowly) while in the room itself.

Also, a small buff for the Taser Bomb; ion damage has been increased from 2 to 3. Despite a one second increase in its cooldown, this change allows the weapon to be spammed if so desired, an effect that could be devastating in the long-term if the player utilizes a fully-trained weapons master (just a theory at this point).

So have the augments been renamed and revamped or did you try making copies? As far as I know, you can't copy certain augments and keep the old ones.

You can only have dummy augments which don't do anything unless you tell them to in a Blue Event.

Originally, I wanted to make the Lanius Med-bot Dispersal capable of fully healing crew in the presence of a vaccum. It would require the Med Bay to be on at all times to sustain non-Lanius crew. If oxygen was off, it would function; if on, it wouldn't.

In retrospect, even if I could've made it work (before realizing effects are hardcoded and you can only change stats) it would've been too useful. People could flick the oxygen off with no penalty and have the Med Bay healing them anywhere on the ship at level 1 strength.

So yeah, LMD is just a buffed Engi Med-bot Dispersal and Organic Compressors are just cheaper Emergency Respirators.
