What are the mods you have installed and in which order?

IMHO drones armed with mines and missiles should exist, their stats (including cost) just need to be rebalanced if they're too powerful. This might also be an Infinite-only problem, as personally I haven't found mines appealing so far in "normal" CE, considering that they basically have no synergy with other weapons.

You need to install both normal CE and Infinite for Infinite to work. Also, infinite slows down the fleet quite a bit already so you dont really need the disable fleet mod.

Hi guys maybe you can help me with this crashing problem that I've been having. Every time I try to play Infinite CE I crash after a few jumps, without fail. I'm pretty sure i must be doing something wrong. I'll post my mod load order.

Chances are you are hitting the 2 Gb memory limit. At least that was what caused crashes for me with CE Infinite.

Try making FTL large address aware. The how (and DL) is here:

Sorry to have to bug you for this, and feel free to ignore me if it indeed is to much.

But would it be possible to get a version of the musical add-on without the track from SoLaRiS in it ?
I still keep getting copyright claims on it and YT has been failing to remove the track from the video causing me to be unable to monetize it. Knowing this track seems to appear in roughly 20-25% of my FTL LP...

I've sent emails to Routenote (where the claim originates from) : no answers. Filed disputes : doesn't change anything. I know Earthrise isn't the song you used in the musical add-on, the one you did use if free to use and we had this debate awhile back, but apparently the penny still hasn't droppped (and probably never will) at Routenote HQ.

So yeah, it would be a version that only I have a need for (or other LP'ers that play CE), but I can't keep dealing with this Routenote BS.
It's either that or get rid of the musical add-on all together which is something I rather not do.
I would try it myself but I have a bad reputation with messing with .ftl files and (un)zipping them.

Yes, there is, and you need that checked to be able to monetize. Doesn't mean YT doesn't check what you actually upload.
Would be the same as signing a piece of paper in your bank saying that you won't steal anything and get free access to the safe without any form of security. Sweet, but impossible and impractical for the bank and its other clients...
Also the reason why I still add the legal information claiming that I can monetize the game footage itself on every video I post of every LP I do. Better safe than sorry.

If you just had to check the box, you can upload and monetize pretty much everything you want. And music is something YT is really, really fickle about since it's so easy to detect. Wish they actually checked the results and the disputes I already sent but no luck.

One track, two names, one copyrighted the other under creative commons (?) and therefore free to use. Ugh...

No, it's like if your bank would randomly block your account because it didn't like your current choice of job. In which case, the best thing to do is to find another bank to keep your money at and tell everyone about the behavior of the old bank.
If the rightholder of that music (is Routenote even that, or is that a one-man subcontractor operating YouTube flagging bots?) supposedly has an issue with you using that music, let them take their grievances to you directly. In front of a judge. Because you're innocent until proven guilty.

Frankly if YouTube is still bothering people with this, you should just boycott them and move your videos elsewhere. There have been peer-to-peer solutions for years for video streaming (Popcorn Time, illegal issues aside, works pretty well I'm told) - by using them one would remove himself from this YouTube (or other anti-Internet, centralized) nonsense that goes against the principle of copyright : "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts".
And if it's the money aspect that you're worried about, there are plenty of alternatives too, between Paypal donations, Flattr, Patreon, BitCoin, etc...

The bank reference was aimed at the usefulness of the 'I own everything' stuff.

Routenote is the site the claim originated from and the site that has the track copyrighted under the title Earthrise.
It's a site that sells music.
Sleeper used the same track in the mod, under a different title and under the creative commons label.
(Forgot the actual title, should be like a 100 pages back)
I've sent them mails before and they indeed have been left unanswered.
I understand YT doing this otherwise it would be to easy to make money of off other peoples work, but this is just ridiculous. Furthermore, in this case it isn't YT itself, just the video being dragged through their software and algorithms like all videos and then being flagged by said software for having that song in it and the song being unjustly claimed by Routenote, therefore giving me a copyright claim.
Not really planning on packing up the channel just because of this...
