If you want to make the gibs then fine by me, But I can make crystal type B's in seconds so after you finished send it over to me and I'll give them back ASAP. :)
They both look really awesome and I think I shall choose the big one. If you have time then sure, make the gibs yourself, I'm horrible at that anyway

Kind of off topic, but could anyone tell me how exactly I should go about creating gibs for something? What is the method someone with more experience uses?

When I make a ship, I normally keep bits and pieces all in different layers and stuff...

Encase I want to move it above or bellow something or move it or I realize it isn't centered or equal on the sides or what ever.

BUT when I make gibs, most of the time i use those parts and add the 'gib parts' onto it, normally cut and sometimes modified from other gibs from the ships in game. Modifying them may involve making it shorter, longer, length, colour, shape, or adding scratches or breaches, list goes on.

In one ship I will make when SL 2 is out, one of my gibs is dead crew members flying out and panels springing off exposing circuits and stuff.

Being creative with gibs is the same as being creative with glows, shields, stealth, floor, rooms, etc.

Not quite, I just don't have time to work on it right now.
But maybe I'll have time after about 3-6 months so there's a little delay.

Yes, I just haven't updated the thread. The stations are done, events just don't work sometimes and then the game crashes but there has certainly been progress!

(also I remember you needed a crystal station. CE recently added it in. do you have it on this mod?)
