I don't know if this information is of any use, but you can easily reproduce the (de-)nebulae'izing of far-away nebula beacons, by forcing a crash of FTL, via killing if from your OS (killall from any GNU/Linux, minimizing->process manager->close application from under windoze). FTL auto-save will kick in, and upon loading, you will notice that nebula layout changed in the sector you're in (tested it only in normal sectors with some nebulae, never tested in nebula sectors).

It's more about finding the crash cause in the nebula events.

Frankly, I haven't experienced a single nebula-event based crash, since you've removed the exit-beacon events in nebula. How do we know that there is some elusive crash there? I mean, what confirmed cases we have? I would like to hunt for those, a little.

Well several people reported crashes for nebula beacons. The sectors these crashes happened in seem to indicate that the problem lies somewhere in the default nebula list for normal nebula.

I've been playing an older version of CE.(1.105) and the newer infinite addon is not working. Version 1.2 of CE Infinite did work. I'm basicly just asking for the old version, it has been removed from mediafire so i just wanted to ask for it.

Wouldn't it be easier to get the newer Captains edition instead?...

Yes it would be but i prefer the old version of FTL and with it, old CE

Yes it would be but i prefer the old version of FTL and with it, old CE
Couldn't you just disable AE content once you update?

I Did with the one save of AE i had, i still like old FTL Better!

The mod will only support the current version of FTL, but you can disable AE content in the hangar.


Update 1.216 is here, focusing on increased variety for the Lanius enemies.

CE Update 1.216
- Tweevles great Lanius B enemy hulls intigrated

- Upgraded sensors should no longer detect PDS dummy weapons on Spotter and Defender classes now
