I would love to see a mode that adds an augment that spools up a chain weapon so you don't need to wait for it to fire faster/ do more damage.

The weapon preigniter skips the first load time for chain weapons, which helps a lot for vulcans. (of course, it's so much more powerful with weapons that aren't the vulcan that it's kind of silly.) You could have a mod with a high cooldown boost (how much the cooldown lowers each shot) and a low cooldown count (how many shots it takes to max) that would make the most use of the preigniter...

The general rule of thumb is that if your mod involves an augment, it won't work. They're almost all entirely hardcoded.
