[Ship]Federation Bombing Party

One of the hardest ships ever made!

once you lose the guy in a ship you lose that system so thats why i put drones in the front ship

If something goes wrong thanks

It comes with engi nano bots to make things easier
also titanium system casing

Still hard

This is a very cool ship concept! Will the shields only deflect shots coming from the front?
a few suggestions:
1. make the shield "fade out" slightly instead of just getting cut of, it would look a lot more natural.
2. you could allso put some smaller bombers in the background, sort of like escort duty.
3. What weapons/systems does it start with, people like to know these things.
I'm personally wondering, does it have engi med-bot dispersal? that would make gameplay significantly easier.
I'll give it a go, see what its like.

the bombers don't have a great quality, here's the bomber inside the resources.dat file

Looks nice, but more information how the ship plays, and what weapon it has would be nice.

Also what happens when you get some new crewmembers?

1. the crew get put into the first ship
2.the weapons are artimis missile basic laser and mini beam

Please use these ship hulls, the one your using are terrible quality. Other than that good job :)

i wanted to use the in built images but the game cant support three times that size

To my knowledge, shield collision is not decided by the geometry, but rather the shield's ellipse data in the layout.txt file for the ship. Admittedly, you could make the ellipse look a bit like a lens, but the only way that'd work right with the current graphic would be if it covered the entire front bomber.

However, I've heard something about buggy ellipses for cases where the ellipse was too large. With a lot of hard work, you might be able to make a shield that indeed covers only one side. Would be hell for defense drones, though.
