[SPOILER] Crystal ship unlock

I had no luck to find it, then I tried what is on this page and got it at my second attempt:

Obviously I was lucky but he gives you nice tips to save time while having a chance to find it. I can confirm that this ship is totally broken and will wipe out almost anything in the game.

Note the unlock is AMAZINGLY easier now in AE, that you can get a Rock ship with a Crystal guy on it. All you need to do is take that ship to the Rock Homeworlds and bam.

Except for that you have to get the other two Rock acheivements [Since if you get Ancestry you would already have got the CC!], and then get to Sector 8 with the Rock B.

Defense Drones is luck-based since you actually have to FIND defense drones while Rock A still actually has missiles; and is it Warm in here requires you to find a fire weapon and a teleporter, and is generally easier with Rock B... which you won't have.

So it's not *that* easy still, even with Rock C. And even with Rock C you have to find Rock Homeworlds, and then find the one beacon.

Even with all that, it's a LOT less difficult than it was before.

I unlocked the Rock B in a few tries dedicated to doing so, twice so far (once originally and once while beta testing AE) and expect the third try (for my YouTube series) to go the same way. I don't think it's that much harder than unlocking the Torus without winning with the Kestrel.

I tried for DOZENS of if not A HUNDRED dedicated runs to get the Crystal Cruiser in the old version, and then gave up and used a cheat. It was only after playing the game for over a year (And I play a lot) that I *stumbled* on the right combination to get to the Crystal Sector legitimately due to sheer unabashed luck in the old version. While beta testing, I unlocked the Crystal ship with maybe 6-8 total Rock Ship plays.

Oh well, I did not know this, I did it without AE.
