The Science Lab immediately became one of my favorite augs as well. The available outcomes will probably be expanded in the future. It might need some rebalancing as well, it seems a little too good right now. The fail chance will probably get an increase. Did you menage to get you hands on some AI crew? Cause they make excellent researchers by the way...
Nice catch with the music addon, I indeed messed up some last minute file renaming. Uploaded a new version and the tracks will work correctly now.
Aaron gets the credit for that first track. You can check out the other artist at http://www.jamendo.com/en if you like.

Odd. Did you make sure to observe the load order in the first post? Maybe post your load order so we can check what might cause the problem. It definitely works for me.
Just putting this out there, it would be nice if there were an event that gives you a repair arm. For example, it could be a twist on the one where there's a rebel scout harassing a repair station. Instead of a scout, it's a cruiser, and the station chief says something along the lines of "we never could have handled that ourselves" and gives you a bigger reward than the normal event. Just putting it out there.

I believe I followed the correct order. BPaP, FTL CE, BPaP compatability, Additional music and and then Infinite/

Mostly because that adds another step in my already long update-routine and that does not make it more convenient.

Not sure what is wrong there then. All I know is that it works for me. Maybe re-download the current versions of the mods and of the mod manager, delete the old mod manager folder and then do a complete fresh install.
This is really not great. I am sitting here with 6 HP, jumping from sector to sector in your endless mod, and so far out of the 10 sectors I have managed to -limp- my way through, I have not gotten one shop since being fatally wounded. I am in a good spot, My weapons are strong, I have two shields, my crew is nearly at full compliment of only humans as every alien I encounter ends up dieing one way or another (I just had to kill my lanius who turned on me because of some kind of infection, which i don't think should happen but i understand how hard it'd be to code it that way with the event), but despite all that there are lots of weapons, especially in your mod, which go -through shields. It is only a matter of time until my ship is torn apart and I really feel cheated here.
Do you still got regular shops to go to? That will pretty much guarantee a shop. Deeps space has a 66% shop chance right now. I guess its a tense game then? Cause that is what I'm trying to produce here. Do you head straight for the exit if not finding a shop? Do you have any scanner augs?

I have the scouting drone augment and the fuel recycler. I must admit, without these I would not have gotten this far. They are beaautiful. What do you mean regular shops? I don't get a shop at all. For the past 10 sectors- I counted. And yes, it is -very- tense. Right now I have to bribe my way out of every fight I encounter, after building up a hefty amount of scrap, to minimize casualties. Despite that, you cannot bribe your way past every ship. I surrendered to a mantis, and he laughed" Oh silly human, how pathetic you are, please please mantis, don't fire on us." Immediately powered up their weapons. Then I pulled out -my- guns.... They really should have taken the offer. Anyway, yes, super syrup tense. And often times, I cannot even use the map drone, as i am interrupted at the very start. I really feel like this is a war of attrition between me and the universe. But what do you mean guarantee a shop? I really -need- a guarantee right now, else I am so friggin boned. And note; I am not complaining. I am fucking terrified. XD
He meant regular sectors (not deep space), just made a semi typo. There, you will get shop with hiiigh probability. But also, a little harder enemies But, unless it's pirate sector, you won't be interrupted on first beacon, so you can map it and head straight to shop. Then, it's just like in one popular book/tx series - you win, or you die.
Well then... Looks like I need to build up on fuel. Thanks. Stand by for report. If I don't answer, you know we have been annihilated. Captain signing off.
Edit: To show you just how tense this is, here's a list of what just happened. Found a shop in this sector that i jumped to just before making this post. I went up, realized there was an asteroid field inbetween me and the shop, the only way to get to it without going through a nebula, which i hate with a passion. I went back down, but there was no way to get from the beacon i thought was easier, to get to the shop. So I go up twice more, through the asteroid field, hoping my two shields will hold. Find a small CRYSTAL CORVETTE; which shoots those heavy crystal missiles straight through sheilds most of the time. They fire once before i manage to rip them to shreds, and because I upgraded my engines heartily a while back, i manage to dodge the only shot, and nagivate my way out of the field with no fuel, use the recycler, get some back.. travel back down, and the rebel fleet is now about to take the only shop i had an option to have. So now I am -forced- to evacuate this sector with nearly no fuel. I am so boned.
Edit 2: It all worked out. Through an amazing turn of events, after zooming another 2 sectors because of my lack of fuel, I came across a store. It was on the other side of a group of 4 nebula encased beacons. I knew that if I went all the way around the nebula, the rebels would catch up before I could get to the ship. With steel resolve and my crew pissing themselves, I piloted us into the nebula. A drone assaulted us, and I knew this was it. Do or die. To get here, I had to navigate two sectors, kill a rebel cruiser, and slip through a rock minefeild. Out of the six or so mines which floated past our ship, one hit, taking our 6HP down to 3. In the beacon next to the exit of this system, A boarding part of engie, two lanius, and a human assault me during peak solar flare hours -right next- to a red giant. Using quick thinking and heavy microtactics, i managed to swap out a pair of crew to deal with the lanius untill they just barely had destroyed my weapons system, bringing my health down to 2. Locking the others in with thier lanius allies was a fantastic move, as my level 2 doors with the zoltan i recently aquired keeping the door shut managed to suffocate the human, while my crew took out the engie. So, escaping with only 2 health points, and a crippled engine, You can imagine my utter terrified grimmace, when the scouting drone had -A multi fire bomb teleporter-. Though he only got off one shot on me, that was enough to make me -shit- myself, as several bombs start appearing all over the ship. All of this, -inside of an ion storm- where i have to disable my oxegyn to power my weapons enough to be able to damage the double shields on this drone and keep my engine running so I can dodge. One of the bombs made it through my shield and menuvering, bringing my ship down to -ONE HEALTH-... It was at that point my burst scatter laser destroyed his shields, and my dual laser crippled his weapon system, disabling only his bomb tosser. He still had a dual laser of his own, and my shield had enough power for only -one- layer. He fired. I fired. My shield lowered. His shield lowered. His second shot shows the miss icon -just- before it looked about to hit the captain's chair, and his ship is torn asunder by my hull laser. One jump away through another Ion storm, i had mapped the sector. There were two choices. An ion storm and another ship, or an empty ion storm. I chose the empty storm, and got myself a trade goods augment i couldn't carry... left it there. Finally, I made it to the shop. Prior to this, i had run across a shop that turned out to attack me... I was weary. But, no need to worry. Everything was fine... I am now fully repaired, and found a 1-power Ion canon sitting in the shop. I still had over 600 scrap, despite paying my way out of many fights. Along with my 1-power burst scatter, and my Naginata which was sitting because of power requirements, I gave myself a 6'th power bar. Now I have ion, and burst scatter, aswell as a super powerful Naginata laser, which tears through ships like a hot butcher knife through butter (Length enough to take out 5 2x1 rooms going straight across, and 2x damage to every room it hits...) Makes the Glaive beam look like a spork. Now I'm fully repaired, I have the most powerful laser I've ever seen, and enough fire power to take down nearly 4 layers of shield, and I have 10 fuel. and still nearly 200 scrap after selling everything I'd collected. This just brings new fucking meaning to; "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."
