I wrote this mod in order to reduce some of the frustration experienced due to the random nature of the game.
It makes the game easier with still keeping some of the challenges of the game.
This mod replaces the default store with Federation Supply Depots, Where you can obtain free supplies. Although repairs still cost scraps.
Scrap can only be earned by events or battles. The value of all items in game have been set to zero.
These changes does a number of things.
1. You don't need to micromanage your fuel/missile/drones.
2. You can recover from bad event such as losing crew members.
3. Easier to try out different strategies with weapons/Subsystem combinations.
LORE:
The data you carry is vital to the remaining Federation fleet. We have given you all we can from this base in order to start your mission, but it won't be enough. In preparation we have hidden supply depots throughout the sectors. Due to the importance of your mission you have been giving clearance to withdraw all provision needed to complete your mission. Find them and gather what you need.
God speed Commander.

Due to the rising cost of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given.

Re: [MOD]Federation Depots Mod
I downloaded this mod and was using it for some time. However whenever I uninstalled it(Using Slipstream MM) the store icons never reverted back. Is there anything you can do to help me?
Re: [MOD]Federation Depots Mod
This is a very nice mod, and I love what you did with it. Going to download it now.

Re: [MOD]Federation Depots Mod
Considering it was made a year ago and that the OP hasn't been here since the mod was made, I doubt they've done it.
But thanks for bumping this up. Perhaps someone will update it for AE, because from what I've seen, people just go "Oh I tweaked a few files" and BAM it's AE compatible all of a sudden.
