How to you unlock the ship? I downloaded it right and it says unidentified ship? How do I unlock it?

This time you need to have the Secret cruiser unlocked before you can play the mod.
Try looking for mods that replace the Kestrel and Engi cruisers, since most people will have those unlocked. Also, most modships replace the Kestrel.
