I don't know if there is one already, or if anyone else thinks this would be a good idea,
but I think it'd be really nice to create some kind of "master mod list" like the one already in the forum, except that it's just for support issues and stuff..
or do people usually just post directly on the specific mod's page?

You got the Questions and inquiry page in Mod Development page, and this thread should be posted on Mod Dev in the first place. A page QnI technically is what you ask for but slightly more.

Problems with a specific mod should be reported in the mod topic, that is the best way to let the author know about it. If the mod is still in development, chances are high the author will release a fix. In fact authors generally agree that they don't receive enough feedback, so posting about any issue or general opinion is encouraged.
