Hello all, long time player now getting into modding. I have a full ship made and ready to go using kartoFlane's ship editor. But the ship has 0 hull, no crew and no weapons at selection. It also blows up the instant it's shown on screen.
So im wondering how do i add the hull, crew and weapons? I think it's the XML files i need to poke around in? Is there an editor i should use for this? I don't want to wreck my original install so im using a mod manager to load my own ship. Any advice and/or help would be welcome.

I've created an editor that seems to be good enough for most people here. Link

Oh god, just reread my own post and noticed I made an error.
I am using Slipstream modmanager to load my mod with, and i made the mod with your Editor. Sorry about that. I'll correct the OP to reflect this after.

Geeze, just found the properties button. Sorry for being so blind : ) Thanks a ton for the great editor!

Thank you a ton for that editor it has helped me alot. But i must have missed something because as i said earlier the hull, starting weapons and what crew the ship have is not set. Is this moddable options i just missed in your editor?kartoFlane wrote:I've created an editor that seems to be good enough for most people here. Link

You can also manually edit the blueprint Superluminal outputs in blueprints.xml.append to change the stats yourself. The tag names are pretty intuitive, in my opinion, so as long as you don't make typos or try to do something REALLY stupid...

I see, well the editor provided works fine now that i found how to use it to edit with. Of course i discovered my ship was way too long. Gotta resize it a bit. Thank you anyhow : ) Good to know alternativesdalolorn wrote:You can also manually edit the blueprint Superluminal outputs in blueprints.xml.append to change the stats yourself.
