I've Installed the game, works perfectly but i'd like to run it with a couple of mods. So I've installed Grognaks mod manager. - had the classic problem of it not wanting to realise i had python installed - run it through python main - opens the manager - patches mods. However once it asks me "do you want to run FTL?" i say: YES
nothing happens... so i try again - patch and while it's asking me, i start the game up myself - no mods...
I've read as many of the guides i could muster, but fail to find a solution
Any help is welcome

Re: Need help :/
I seem to recall that the "start game" option was bugged and did not actually work properly - best to just close it and start the game manually.
If GMM isn't working for you at all, however, perhaps give Slipstream a try instead?

Re: Need help :/
Is it actually russian, or just a mangled mess of words and characters? In the latter case, that means that some weird stuff happened while patching.
If it's actually in russian, then you probably downloaded a translated version of FTL, launched the manager, and got backups from that version. So every time you install mods, you'll have the translated files restored in your current installation.
Delete all FTL installations, reInstall the english version of FTL, delete /backups/ folder in GMM/SMM directory, delete config and launch the manager again.
