Hello I started making my first mod using the Destiny from stargate: Universe. I was using the Subliminal editor tool everything looked good. However when I enter into the game it while the rooms are fine but the hull is discolored and in an incorrect position. I tried to remake it, and it still did it so I am unsure of what it was that I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is the link to the file if it helps: http://www.mediafire.com/download/85zfc ... estiny.ftl

Very weird indeed. I would suggest finding another image / re-saving it as png, this one appears to be corrupt somehow.

Re: Assistance in fixing custom ship image
Thats probably caused by an incorrect format on the ship graphic, or the way FTL handles png files, if that png file have something wrong, thats probably what is causing that weird aspect. Have you tried to open the image in an image editor, and save it again as .PNG with the default options??
About the position, since the rooms are ok, you will have to manually change the position of the image of the hull in the yourshipname.xml file located in the data folder where it says <img x="-20" y="-145" w="534" h="465"/> you will need to change the -20 and -145 values (in pixels) until you get the right position. But maybe that weird position is caused as well by the incorrect format of the image, who knows.
There is an option in superluminal called "calculate optimal offset" but i guess that works in conjunction with the room layout and the hull image, so i dont think it that will solve the position of the image hull (i dont think so but u should try).
But before trying to fix the position, fix the format of the image first..
