The rebellion (HEAVY prototype)

i discovered how to open up the data.dat and resource.dat files around 16 hours before i posted this, and slept for eight of them. this is just what i think would be cool in the game, it comes with a usable (but has no sprite) fire laser, which fires invisible bullets, a race of creatures called the ninja that right now are just humans with a different description, and has allowed the boss's weapons to be bought in stores... but the kestrel starts with all four, for free.

edit 1 of many: the kestrel-a has a drone system, teleporter, and cloaking right from the beginning. the kestrel-b is changed to have all four boss weapons in all their glory, the federation-b is the savior which has no weaponry but makes use of teleporting and has advanced sub-systems... as a joke from a friend, all male humans look like dante. keeping that there as a placeholder. asteroid cannons are being added!

i do not yet know how to assemble a zip into a FTL file yet, if someone could kindly tell me how to do that on a mac i can mod further..
