As the CFS Vengeance began it's voyage. The crew debated about what strategy they should use. In the end it was decided that the entire crew would be part time boarders, and the crystal crew would become full time boarders as new crew were found. The CFS Vengeance had a teleporter system installed at the very next shop that sold one. Much of what happened after this has been lost to history, but on their journey we know they were able to procure one mantis fugitive, one mantis prisoner (both mantis were immediately added to the boarding party),a zoltan named charlie, a rock princess named Ariadne, and another crystal crew member named Ruwen (he was stationed on shields due to the fact the current mantis-crystal boarding party was extremely effective).
A picture of one of their spoils of war.
Finally we arrive to their most well recorded battle. The battle against the rebel flagship, the RFS Destroyer.
In the first stage the CFS Vengance was badly hit by the flagship's beam weapon and tri-missile launcher.
But as the boarding party managed to kill of most of the flagship's crew, and the missile launcher was disabled, the Vengeance got the upper hand, causing the flagship to retreat. The crew of the Vengeance soon found that there were no repair shops in range, causing unrest after the crew surveyed the damage. A decision was made that extra care was to be used to avoid more hull damage.
The Vengeance gave chase and found the flagship surrounded by hordes of drones. Luckily the boarding party took out drone control before too much damage could be done and the cloak system enabled the Vengeance to dodge power surges. Once again, the flagship retreated after sustaining major damage.
In the final stage a series of attacks left the Vengeance with one bar of hull left. The crew of the vengeance seemed empowered by this however, as their attacks became ruthless.
In an amazing victory that military tacticians still study today, the rebel flagship was destroyed without one casualty to the crew of the CFS Vengeance!
