Greetings fellow moders!
It's not a long time I started playing FTL, but I was amazed from the very first second. After a few hours of flying through vast space I realized I want to build my own ship. I am a long-term fan of Stargate series, so my first thoughts were about Daedalos/Prometheus/Aurora ship. But then I remembered the SGU.
"The design is clearly Ancient, in the truest sense of the word. Launched hundreds of thousands of years ago. Faster than light, yet not through hyperspace. Who knows how far it's traveled."
First thing I did was searching for any Stargate mods. Unfortunately, I found only old Hatak ship, and some unrealised ideas of total SGU conversion mod (http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13846 http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic. ... sgu#p22362)
I read some modding guides, downloaded few tools and I started working on my own.
I started with Destiny.
2.The Ship
Destiny is a ship built 50 milions years ago on Earth by The Ancients. It was launched unmanned. It's main objective was to collect information about a mysterious pattern found in the Cosmic microwave background radiation. From that moment, the ship has traveled an unimaginable distance. The Ancients originaly planned to board the ship themselves in a future, but when they learned about Ascencion, they no longer needed to.

Planned: Room images, better Hull, Shields, new sounds and crew images
