Hey everyone.
I just downloaded FTL and played for a few hours then left. The game was in windowed mode but I put it in to full screen mode, which didn't do anything I figured it would take effect the next time i loaded the game.
Well when i went back to play it opened in fullscreen and the game froze at the loading screen. I have heard that some other people have had this issue and followed the steps from that (updated drivers, turned off steam cloud saves, deleted the game and reinstalled) and nothing has worked so I am unable to play the game.

Sorry about this! Is it freezing right at the very end of the loading screen? Make sure to move/rename your profile file (location here: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1892) as well as disabling the Steam cloud. Loading screen locks are most commonly caused by corrupt profiles.
You can get back into windowed mode by navigating to the FTL installation directly and deleting 'settings.ini' just in case that's what's causing the problem.
