flickering/buggy

Post by regneva2501 »

every time I play the game flickers and I can see my desktop for a split second whenever I click it flickers it also says unresponsive for a brief moment and then goes back to responding. I have to put multiple times just to select my weapons or anything.

I have updated my graphics drivers to the latest
reinstalled twice
tried playing with the options to have vertical sync on and off frame lock on and off.
If I try to play in fullscreen it bugs and is unplayable I cannot even see the window
I am playing steam version and have deleted all files associated with the game when doing a reinstall

Please help as I really enjoy this game and with my condition this is one of the few games I can play!

What operating system are you using? 64-bits or 32-bits? What graphics card do you have?

Hello! Sorry about the problem. Can you email me a dxdiag dump for your system so I can get more details? My address is zasdarq@ftlgame.com. Hopefully I can get you sorted out.

I responded to your email, but forgot to come double check this forum post. I don't know why your dxdiag is reporting it, but it's claiming you're running drivers from 2000. Given that you're running an SLI watercooled system, I'm going to assume you know what you're doing and have attempted to update your drivers correctly... so I'm not sure what could be causing that. Are you using anything non standard?

well I use SmartNav and frag pedals so I can use my computer as I don't have full use of my hands. I've also tried using voice commands but they always seem to work fine
