Slug Cruiser: Unable to unlock?

I have currently unlocked mosssst of the cruiserssss, and are now focussssed on the Sssslug Cruisssser (besssside the Sssstealth one). After multiple attemptssss, and possssssssibly sssslug ssssurrenderssss in the 50'ssss with the required sssslug crew member and/or ssssensorssss aboard, I have yet to ssssee the option "get information", neither the exsssperimental Bio Beam Weapon.

Have I misssssed out on ssssomething? I really don't want to ressssort to ssssave sssscumming in order to get thissss sssship unlocked.

I got it the first pass through the slug nebula that I tried to unlock it. The ship got away in the second part, though. I got the ship actually unlocked on my second run through. Are you 100% sure that you are doing it right?

not every fight has a "get information" option. Only the normal fights, any event fight or fight where they knock out your systems does not qualify.

Also, if you're killing their crew with a boarding crew, the option never comes up. It is triggered by ship damage.

Also, make sure you're in the slug home nebula and not a slug controlled nebula. I made that mistake twice before realizing they were different places.

I unlocked the quessssst againssssst the firssssst ship I encountered on my firssssst try in the right type of nebula. With my fire ssssship (Burssssst Lassssser MK3 and twin Fire Beam+Cloak+4up Teleport+Full crew) it should be an easssssy fight, and I ssssstill have half a sssssector to crosssss before I reach the exit. Wisssssh my enemy luck!

Asssss I sssssaid, my enemy needed luck. Ssssship isssss now in hangar. It'sssss a really nicssssse ssssship for usssss ssssslugs.
