Level 5 Quarantine?

Anyone seen if this event resolves into anything? I think I've had lvl 2 Medbay when I find it, but never a lvl 3.

I'm pretty sure it one of those "nothing to do here" events. They have different flavor text, but that's all.

You have to have either an engi or a rock in your crew, if you do it gives you an extra option that doesn't kill you

No... I think the one you're thinking of is a distress beacon. There are two options (leave or send crew down), and a third blue one for if you have an Engi or a Rock.

Infernal Auditor is correct. The Engi or Rock options are for a planet wide epidemic. That isn't the same event as quarantine.

The Level 5 Quarantine event is what happens when other players don't help the infected people because they don't have a Rock or Mantis, leaving a dead, eventless flavor planet that confuses future captains.
