FREE BEER: After crash problems

Hello.

I've been playing ftl on steam without having any problems with it in the 20 or so hours played, but I just stumbled across this one problem that's extremely irritating.

I had unlocked the stealth cruiser and played with it for an hour or so, even exciting ftl in the meanwhile. When I started a new run with the stealth cruiser my computer freezes around sector 3 and so I rebooted. However, when I got evertyhing in order again I fired up FTL, steam asks whether I want to use local files or the cloud files. I chose cloud files, since I thought that's the way to go, but now I see the stealth cruiser is not unlocked anymore.

Is there some tweaks I can make to unlock the stealth cruiser to play once more without actually going through the rigmarole of completing the quest chain again?

Any help is much appreciated.

i'm affraid you made the wrong choice without knowing it (and how could you know...). The files on the cloud were old, from before unlocking the cruiser.
